Owen's Baby blessing

On Jan 6th we blessed Owen with our friends and family. I'm so glad for Natalie and my friend Brittany for taking notes of the blessing. it's hard to remember it and I had Noah with me so it was hard to pay close attention. I kinda wish I would have written the other kids' blessings on my blog so I'd remember... oh well. live and learn :)

I'm so grateful for Derek and his strong spirit and his worthiness to bless our babies.

Christmas 2012

I'll be honest. It wasn't our favorite Christmas. With Derek having to work both Christmas eve, Christmas eve night and Christmas it kinda sucked. BUT, it was still a great Christmas. at least he was able to be home and open presents with us and our parents were around for the morning and the day. We went and visited Derek at work for a little while too. The kids were so much fun and Sophie really knows whats going on now so it made it that much more fun. Owen enjoyed his first Christmas sleeping most of the day. and the kids loved all their new toys!

NOAH IS TWO!

he's two alright... he is acting like a textbook 2 year old. and that's all I'll say about THAT... he's our big boy now. he's talking a lot more and doing a lot more. he does EVERYTHING Sophie does. textbook boy. loves cars, being rough, screaming and getting dirty. we love him. SO MUCH. he is such a snuggler and a sweetheart. always looking out for others and absolutely adores Owen. we love you little guy. keep us smiling.

Owen is 2 months!

This little guy is growing by the day. he is up to 12.5 lbs last time they checked, and is strong as can be. he can hold up his head and is smiling and talks all day. we can't get enough of him. except for when he goes on a crying streak... then we can. ;) the kids are doing great with him. they help me SO much when he cries and they get his pacifier and rock him to calm down and I'm in the shower or cooking or something. Noah wakes up every morning asking for him. he LOVES him. I think they are gonna be great buddies growing up so close in age.
